Center for Simplified Strategic Planning
CSSP has engaged us to customize their highly successful process "Strategic Planning for Small to Mid-Sized Companies" for the educational market. Since 1981, the Center for Simplified Strategic Planning (through its Strategic Focus on strategy and strategic management services) has provided their clients the tools and leadership required to obtain superior strategic results. We understand the challenges typically faced by our clients in installing systems and practices necessary to support growth, while maintaining day-to-day operations.
Our work with organizations is built around our proprietary planning model. It is a streamlined, hands-on methodology designed to ensure that course and direction are well thought-out, and that the resources of the organization are sharply focused in support of that course and direction.
Non-Profit - The BEST Project
The BEST Project is an initiative of the Flint Funders Collaborative (FFC). FFC members include the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, the Ruth Mott Foundation and the United Way of Genesee County. BEST brings together regional funders, consultants, technical assistance providers, and nonprofit agencies to achieve a more viable, sustainable and effective nonprofit community. BEST uses a two-phased approach to capacity building. First, organizations participate in a quantitative and qualitative organizational assessment. Assessments are conducted by vetted consultants and take place over the course of three to four months. Then, based on consultant recommendations, agencies are eligible to apply for up to two years of capacity building funding. BEST aims to align assessment and capacity building activities with community needs and realities including providing quality services to some of the most vulnerable, at-risk populations in the region.

Small Business Association of Southeast Michigan and PeerSpectives®
The Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center offers the opportunity for CEOs, presidents or owners of growth-oriented businesses in Michigan to participate in the Michigan PeerSpectives® Network. This network will bring together small groups of entrepreneurs in a facilitated peer-to-peer problem-solving process proven to provide high-impact results. The Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center network is working with the Edward Lowe Foundation, a leading not-for-profit foundation whose mission is to champion the entrepreneurial spirit, to implement Michigan PeerSpectives® Network groups around Michigan. The Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Growth and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation are providing partial scholarships for eligible entrepreneurs.
The Michigan PeerSpectives® Network roundtable model uses a structured method of group problem solving and idea generation to foster innovative thinking and creative solutions to real problems that are challenging members of the group. Each group is led by a trained facilitator who provides the structure that delivers real results for participants. This is not another training program or speaker-focused seminar. As noted earlier, the Michigan PeerSpectives® Network process is proven to provide high-impact results.
